McKinney, Bancroft & Hughes is delighted to welcome Ms. D’Andra A. Johnson to the Family!
D’Andra is a graduate of Queen Mary University of London, UWI Cave Hill Campus and the Eugene Dupuch Law School: having attained an LLM in Comparative & International Dispute Resolution, LLB and LEC respectively. During her LEC programme she developed an interest in international commercial and investment arbitration sparked by her participation in the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court Competition. After completing her LEC in 2016, D’Andra worked in Civil and Commercial litigation until 2018 when she was awarded the Chevening scholarship to pursue her LLM, which focused substantially on international arbitration. She is eager to see The Bahamas become a hub for international arbitration and received distinction on her LLM dissertation suggesting how this can become reality and what benefits it would cause for the Bahamian economy. D’Andra volunteers with the Dignified Girl Project, a non-profit organization that provides free personal care packages to young girls and seeks to educate and motivate them about the value of their impact on society.
