Peteche attended the University of Kent in Kent, England where she immersed herself fully as a Student Ambassador, Research Assistant, Peer Mentor and Mooter. She was elected Kent Critical Law Conference Coordinator for two consecutive years as well as Kent Law School President in her final year. In July 2019, she attained a First Class Joint Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Law.

Peteche then enrolled in the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) and a Masters of Law in Bar Practice at the University of Law in London, England. During her year at bar school, Peteche marshalled in the High Court (Family Division), undertook mini-pupillages at leading Chambers in London and Kent, and volunteered as an advocate for the Communities Empowerment Network. She successfully completed the bar and her masters in 2020 and was awarded a Very Competent and Distinction respectively. Peteche was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn in November 2020 and was subsequently admitted to the Bar of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in December 2020.

In her spare time, Peteche serves as President and Director of the Power Passion Purpose Project, which she founded in May 2020. The registered Non-Profit Organisation mentors girls in high school, connects them with accomplished women and empowers them to explore their passions to find their life’s purpose. Peteche is an avid foodie who enjoys spending time with her three dogs, family and friends. She loves travelling, boating, dancing, yoga, painting and writing.
