Miguel Darling



Miguel attended the University of Kent, Kent, United Kingdom where he attained a Bachelor of Laws degree with First Class Honors in 2017. In his final year at the University of Kent, Miguel was elected as the Editor-in-Chief of the Kent Student Law Review Journal. Shortly thereafter, he returned home to Nassau and worked as a legal research assistant at the firm for a year. In 2018, Miguel then enrolled on the Bar Professional Training Course (‘BPTC’) at The University of the West of England, Bristol, United Kingdom and successfully completed the course in 2019. In the same year he become an ADR ODR International accredited Civil Commercial Mediator.

Miguel was called to the Bar of England and Wales by The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in October 2019 and was subsequently admitted to the Bar of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in December 2019.

In his spare time, Miguel enjoys powerlifting, cooking, reading books on Political Theory and Stoicism, and playing chess. He was formerly a member of the Bahamas National Chess Team and Under 12, Under 14, and Under 16 National Chess Champion.
