Beatrice Miranda joined the firm in 1998 and is a Registered Associate in the litigation department dealing primarily with trust and insolvency matters.

Mrs. Miranda obtained a Master of Law degree (magna cum laude) from the University of Zurich, Switzerland in 1994 and was admitted to the Zurich Bar in 1997. She also obtained the degree of ‘Master of Laws in Comparative Law’ (LL.M.) from the University of Miami, Florida in 1998. In 2006 Mrs. Miranda was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. In 2009 Mrs. Miranda became a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and was awarded the designation TEP (Trust and Estate Practitioner).

Since her relocation to the Bahamas in 1998 Mrs. Miranda has acquired extensive experience in trust and cross border insolvency work. Specifically, she has assisted the Senior Partner with a major liquidation of a bank, which had business dealings throughout South America and Europe. Mrs. Miranda is fluent in English, Spanish, French and German and also understands Italian and Portuguese.
