Ashley Sands joined McKinney, Bancroft and Hughes in October 2008 as an Associate in the Litigation Department.

Miss Sands works primarily in the following practice areas;
Civil & Commercial Litigation, Shipping & Admiralty Litigation, Trust Litigation & Fraud Recovery.

Upon completing her secondary education at Havergal College, Toronto, Canada, Miss Sands received a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B., Hons.) from The University of Bristol, England and completed her Bar Vocational Course at Inns of Court School of Law (ICSL) in London, England.

Miss Sands was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales on July 24th, 2008 and to the Bahamas Bar on September, 26th 2008.

She is a member of the Honorable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and the Bahamas Bar Association.
