Ms. Lourey Smith is a Partner of the firm whose areas of expertise include Real Property and
Commercial law, Trusts, Estate Administration and Estate planning, Corporate and Financial
Services.
Following her education at the University of the West Indies Mona Campus, Jamaica where she
obtained a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science in Economics she entered Articles of
Clerkship with Winston Saunders at McKinney, Bancroft & Hughes and was admitted to The
Bahamas Bar in October, 1986.
Ms. Smith regularly advises clients of the firm on matters involving Conveyances, Mortgages,
Corporate and Commercial structures and general business and wealth management projects.
Her practice also includes Probate and Estates, and transactional work relating to business
ventures in The Bahamas.
Ms. Smith is currently a director of the Bank of The Bahamas Limited. She is also a member of
The Airport Authority. She is one of the Firm’s contact Partners for Lex Mundi. |
