Ashley N. Sands

As a senior associate of the firm, Ashley N. Sands specializes in commercial and civil litigation. The scope of her expertise includes debt and asset recovery, family law, dispute resolution, and employment and labor relations.

Ashley attended the University of Bristol in England, where she obtained her Bachelor of Laws Degree in 2007. She then earned a postgraduate diploma in Professional Legal Skills from the Inns of Court School of Law in London, England. Ashley was called to the Bar of England & Wales in July, 2008, and she is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. In September of 2008, Ashley was admitted to The Bahamas Bar.

Ashley subscribes to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism, and she is known for her competence and efficiency in achieving favorable results. Her commitment to the needs of her clients is reflected in every facet of her work ethic.

In addition, Ashley is passionate about giving back to the community. She volunteers with the Elizabeth Estates Children’s Home and supports the Ride For Hope Bike-A-Thon as well as The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Ashley also supports The AIDS Foundation of The Bahamas, and she is a member of the International Federation of Women Lawyers, which promotes the socio-economic well-being of women and children across the globe.

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys CrossFit training, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.
